To grow our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious IoT Data Engineer with work experience in Amazon Web Services to develop a global platform to digitise and automate business processes to address needs of a Customer with factories spread internationally. Enter a new era of production management and enablement by bringing modern cloud capabilities into production activities: smart factory and production intelligence and analytics.

The function:

 

The projects we do all have to do with innovation at our customers around DW, IoT and AWS Cloud. Within the team we work on several projects at the same time and we are also further expanding our platform. You will be surrounded by enthusiastic and experienced team members who are happy to help you on your way.

 

You work within an ambitious team, where new colleagues participate in our Scrum team on current projects from day one.

 

Your experienced colleagues will help you learn all the tricks of the trade and thus get the best out of yourself.

In addition, there is also a lot of room to design, to uncover requirements and to steer within the Scrum team in addition to coding.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • At least three years of hands-on experience building highly scalable DW´s with ETL information coming from sensors
  • Hands-on experience building event-based/service-oriented applications using AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, S3, IoT
  • Hands-on experience with Grafana is a huge plus
  • You work in a small and highly experienced cross-functional agile team following SCRUM methodology
  • You design, develop and optimize customer-facing features, keeping infrastructure, performance, scalability, and testability in mind by taking over ownership for the whole development cycle
  • You encourage technical discussion and decision making within your team by balancing customer impact and technical quality
  • You proactively mentor your colleagues, share knowledge and learn from your peers
  • You foster a culture of transparency and communication as well as a positive and solution-oriented attitude
  • Fluent English

 

We support relocation, so we consider candidates with an European working permit and/or able to relocate to Lisbon.
